What can I watch?
The catalogue brings together short films of every genre, from drama to comedy, documentary to animation, stop motion and films made using artificial intelligence. Italian and international works share the quality that guides Ciakli's editorial selection. Alongside films proposed by Authors, the catalogue will grow over time with festival winners, academic works and titles discovered directly by Ciakli in Italy and abroad.
Do I need a payment method to register?
Not right away. As a Viewer, all you need for now is your email address: we will let you know when the platform is ready. Only then will you choose a plan and activate your subscription with payment.
What quality are short films shown in?
Every short film is offered up to the limit of your plan and the original master. Lite and Standard go up to Full HD; Plus is the only plan with streaming in up to 4K and native HDR when the master supports it.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, at any time. Access remains active until the end of the period already paid for, with no refund for the remaining period.

How can I publish my short film?
Choose the Standard or Plus plan and upload your short film directly to Ciakli in a few steps. Before publication, our editorial team assesses the quality of the work, its fit with the catalogue's range of genres and ownership of the rights. We will let you know the result after upload; if the film is not accepted, you can submit another.
Who can publish?
Producers, directors, cinematographers, actors and anyone authorised by the rights holder to publish the short film on Ciakli.
Do I have to pay immediately to upload my short film?
No. During registration, we ask for a payment method for pre-authorisation, with no immediate charge. Payment is taken only if your short film passes editorial selection and is ready for publication.
How does publishing my short film work?
After editorial selection, if your short film is approved, we send you an email with a confirmation button: one click and your film goes online, without a wait.
Can I change anything after my short film is published?
Yes. You can contact support to request specific changes, such as the title, description or cover, even after publication.
Do I have to publish exclusively on CIAKLI?
No. The licence you grant us is never exclusive: your short film remains free to be distributed elsewhere.
How many short films can I publish, and how long do they stay online?
Standard includes 1 short film; Plus includes up to 5. They remain published for as long as your plan is active.
Can I change my plan?
Yes: upgrades take effect immediately, while downgrades take effect at the end of the period already paid for.
